Reliance Industries अब satellite communication और space internet sector में बड़ा कदम उठाने की तैयारी कर रही है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, कंपनी low earth orbit (LEO) satellites पर multi-billion dollar investment की योजना बना रही है। माना जा रहा है कि इस कदम से Reliance का मुकाबला SpaceX के Starlink, Amazon के Project Kuiper और Eutelsat OneWeb जैसी global satellite internet services से हो सकता है।
रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, इस नए satellite business को Jio Platforms के तहत संचालित किया जा सकता है। Jio Platforms पहले से Reliance के telecom और digital ecosystem को संभालती है, इसलिए satellite connectivity को भी इसी network का हिस्सा बनाया जा सकता है।दो रणनीतियों पर काम कर सकती है Relianceकंपनी reportedly organic और inorganic दोनों तरह के expansion मॉडल पर विचार कर रही है
organic expension इस रणनीति में Reliance अपने resources और technology के जरिए धीरे-धीरे satellite business को मजबूत करेगी। इसमें शामिल हो सकते हैं:नई satellite technology develop करनाGround stations और communication infrastructure तैयार करनाअपनी engineering और R&D teams के जरिए services expand करनाभारत में नए customers और enterprise users जोड़ना
Inorganic Expansionतेजी से market में entry लेने के लिए कंपनी acquisitions और partnerships का रास्ता भी अपना सकती है। इसके तहत:Satellite startups खरीदनाForeign space companies के साथ collaboration करनाJoint ventures या mergers करनाExisting satellite infrastructure और orbital assets acquire करना
Project T पर बनाई गई हैं कई टीमेंरिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, Reliance ने अपने satellite initiative के लिए कई dedicated teams बनाई हैं। ये टीमें launch systems, payload technology, satellites और user terminals जैसे अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों पर काम कर रही हैं।बताया जा रहा है कि इस initiative की निगरानी Mukesh Ambani खुद कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा PK Bhatnagar, Mathew Oommen और Aayush Bhatnagar जैसे senior executives भी इस project से जुड़े हुए हैं।
ITU और DoT के साथ चर्चारिपोर्ट्स में यह भी कहा गया है कि Reliance ने orbital slot filings और satellite spectrum allocation को लेकर भारत के दूरसंचार विभाग (DoT) तथा International Telecommunication Union (ITU) के साथ बातचीत शुरू की है। ITU global level पर satellites के लिए radio frequencies और orbital positions allocate करता है।
Acquisition और Partnerships पर भी नजरकंपनी उन satellite firms में दिलचस्पी दिखा सकती है जिनके पास पहले से orbital slots और communication infrastructure मौजूद हैं। इससे Reliance को तेजी से satellite broadband market में मजबूत स्थिति बनाने में मदद मिल सकती है।Orbit Connect India JV पहले से सक्रियReliance पहले ही Luxembourg-based SES S.A. के साथ Orbit Connect India नाम का joint venture बना चुकी है।इस JV में:Reliance की हिस्सेदारी 51%SES की हिस्सेदारी 49%इस partnership के तहत SES अपनी GEO और MEO satellite capacity उपलब्ध करा रही है, जबकि Jio भारत में distribution, connectivity और customer operations संभालेगा। हाल ही में इस venture को भारत में satellite services शुरू करने के लिए जरूरी approvals भी मिल चुके हैं।
